Francis Lickerish has fifteen years experience as a counsellor, group therapist, workshop leader and trainer. Described as a gifted presenter, he interweaves therapeutic technique with story telling, music and the dynamic use of myth and legend to give his events an extra dimension and a particular flavour.

Before training as a therapist, Francis was a successful rock guitarist. He was a founding member of a band described as "The biggest cult band in Europe" and "The UK's best kept musical secret." However it was described, it was certainly an influential unit.This interesting occupation has significantly contributed to his acquired wisdom and style. He uses his skill as a gutarist, lutenist and composer to highlight and complement his workshops.

His experience in the substance misuse treatment industry has seen him working with a very broad client base ranging from street drinkers and criminals to film stars and royalty.

He has held senior positions for several years and has worked at Clouds House, Lifeworks, Farm Place and the Priory, among others.
